Its a Perfect game but make bigger land and the units should move like in the coumputer version , more units and better graphics and increase the population limit to a hundred or at least 50 and add skirmish mode and sea warfare or else this is an award winning game

Been a fan of the total war series for a long time. And this is perfect for when Im away from the pc when I just want a fix of some TOTAL WAR!!!

But awesome. Especially on iPad 3.

I hate the fact that they cant retreat while under slaughter. (go backwards/regroup) So far I havent seen any high ground for the archers. I would like to point on my men and then just point at the enemy I want to attack instead of using those hands always taking the scenic route to the other side of the screen. I also once created a building by accident, I couldnt place it anywhere (no room) and i could not find a way to delete it off of the shelf. I do like the overall concept of the game, just think it needs to be more user friendly concerning strategy. In real war be dont hunt for enemies in a straight line all the time, we improvise and find shorter routes. ...and where is the documentation??? Have to die a million deaths just to figure out which buttons do what. Great game though, I am eager for updates. Complained the whole time and still gave ya 5 stars, this is how much faith I have in you guys, as a loyal fan. Cant wait until full online multiplayer.

It crashes on startup.

After putting this app on my 3rd gen iphone i was very displeased as it crashes after launch. Basically 7 dollars down the drain thanks Apple!

After spending 7$ on an app that crashes immediately, Im really disappointed. Patch this or refund my purchase and I will gladly change my rating.

Game crashes at launch. Its a shame im a fan of the series and was looking foreward to the game.

This game is very fun, however, I would add a free play element to it with a difficulty selection. Other then that I wouldnt change a thing.

Bought it not knowing what to expect. Pretty lame. Repetitive and boring especially for seven bucks. For 99 cents I wouldnt have said anything.

I have only played a couple hours of this and will re-review after spending more time with it, but units are hard to tell apart (on iPhone 4), controls are sometimes unresponsive, the "puzzle" element of base building feels out of place (16th century zoning board?), it seems to be impossible to max out upgrades without spending real money, and NO online multiplayer

Dont listen to most of the complaints. Some people dont like a bit of a challenge. A little expensive but mostly worth it. The only real problem is it doesnt seem to have much replay value ,hoping they add some kind of map pack type update.

Worth the dough! Top line medieval strategy. Enjoy.

Total War Battles is a great strategy game. Its simple, but yet can be a very in depth experience. My only problem however, is the lack of Online Multiplayer. I feel like this game was made for Online Gaming. Please add Online, and I will rate a full 5 stars

I have been a fan of the total war series for many years, and when I saw this game come up in the app store I immediately investigated and then purchased. After a couple of days I must say I am disappointed. The game has almost no strategic level play, the vast majority of the game is strictly an tactical level RTS. For fans of RTS, I am sure they will be well served by this game, but I was hoping for a stronger strategic level to go along side the tactical level, much like all other TW titles include. The graphics of this game, and the animation of the characters is outstanding. The plot and voice acting is first rate. The polish of this game is really quite good. The game looks fantastic on an iPad retina display. I felt let down by the game play itself, and the cramped feel of the smallish battle field. I play this game exclusively in a 3rd gen iPad, and dont contemplate ever trying it on an iPhone. It seems as though the developer made this game to work on the smaller screen and in doing so it seems unnecessarily cramped on a larger iPad screen. With that said, the game looks great, and I am sure many will enjoy this game. I am not one of those, despite a real effort on my part, I just could not find any part of the game play to enjoy.

Great game. Nothing like the rest of the series but the production values are really high. Def worth it.
